5-HIAA, VMA & HVA in Urine Reagent Kit (RUO)
5-HIAA, VMA & HVA in Urine Reagent Kit (RUO)
The Diagnotix Catecholamine Metabolites Reagent Kit is designed for quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis of the metabolites 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), homovanillic acid (HVA) and vanillylmandelic acid (VMA) in human urine.
The kit provides a complete reagent set for laboratories conducting research on neurotransmitter and catecholamine metabolites using UHPLC-MS/MS systems. Matrix-matched calibrators and stable isotope-labelled internal standards support reliable quantification and help compensate for matrix effects during analysis.
The assay features straightforward sample preparation and a robust workflow, allowing the method to be easily implemented on existing LC-MS/MS platforms. This makes the kit particularly suitable for laboratories seeking a standardised approach without the need to develop a complete LC-MS/MS method in-house.
Calibrators are assigned using multiple independent SKML external quality assessment samples.
The reagent kit is supplied as a Research Use Only laboratory product.
